New Dock A and Airside Center Expansion

OTC was the airport terminal planner on this competition entry to rebuild the airport’s oldest concourse. An innovative concourse section provided complete flexibility to operate each gate as for either International or Schengen flights using only two concourse levels.
A new node at the root (“Wurtzel”) of the Dock connected the existing Airside Center to new International and Schengen retail and amenities hubs serving the new Dock, while expanded immigration facilities and a new passenger circulation system supported seamless transfer routes between the new gates in Dock A, Dock B, and the APM-linked satellite Dock E, for any combination of international and Schengen transfer routes.
